CVCPOF was established to provide support between and among men and women of the law enforcement profession that follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.  Our events and meetings are a place where officers can come together in order to be encouraged, enriched and motivated to keep their eyes on Jesus Christ; a place where officers can be taught to perform their duties in a manner consistent with the teachings of the Bible. 

We are also a safe place for non-Christian law enforcement officers to come and hear about how the burdens of their job and their life can be lightened through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  It is our hope and prayer that non-Christian officers would hear of God’s love and forgiveness, and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

We are not a substitute for a home church and regular worship, fellowship, and study.  We can, however, offer supplements to those, and assist those looking for a home church to locate one which will meet the needs of the individual and family.We are open to all persons working in the criminal justice field, both Christian and non-Christian. 

This is a support ministry that is for the benefit of the spouse, children, and family, as much as for the individual involved in the law enforcement profession.  We know that it is the spouse and children who often times have to put up with the anger, frustrations, bitterness, and other emotions brought home by the officer, as well as the long hours and disrupted family schedules.There is no police department rank structure recognized within Central Valley Christian Peace Officers Fellowship. 

As in the body of Christ, there can be no division or walls.  Galatians 3:28.  The Apostle Paul reminds us of this because division is a tool used by the enemy to defeat us.  All believers are welcome to participate with open and honest expression without concern for, or recognition of, their rank, level, or position within the department.
